From the MTR Station, you can take:

• Taxi (10 mins) to 何鴻燊體育中心 Hong Kong University Stanley Ho Sports Centre Complex

• Minibus Route No. 58 or 58A (18 mins) – this stops on Sha Wan Drive, right outside Stanley Ho Sports Centre Complex

You can also go there by Uber or taxi.

Overview

Hong Kong has 45 public indoor swimming pools and three times more in private facilities, for a city with 7.5 million people. That’s a lot of places to swim, and we are proud to feature Swimming as a sport for Gay Games 11. In partnership with the Hong Kong University (HKU), GGHK’s Aquatic events will be held at the HKU Henry Fok Swimming Pool, a gorgeous seaside open air swimming pool with stunning views across the Hong Kong archipelago.

Please have your badges present when entering the complex.

Saturday, November 4 – Tuesday, November 7
Consists of 1 day of practice and 3 days of competition.

The following events will be organized:

Individual Events

• Freestyle: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 m

• Backstroke: 50, 100, 200 m

• Breaststroke: 50, 100, 200 m

• Butterfly: 50, 100, 200 m

• Individual medley: 200, 400 m

Relay Events*

• Freestyle relay: 4x100 m (All Gender, Women and Mixed)

• Medley relay: 4x100 m (All Gender and Women)

*At least two swimmers must identify as women in each "Mixed" relay team.

Divisions

Individual - Men's (All Gender*) and Women’s

Relay - All Gender, Women's and Mixed*

*GGHK is committed to creating more inclusive spaces where everyone can participate in sports, regardless of their gender. Therefore, the "Men's" individual events have been repurposed into a "Men's (All-Gender)" category to enable everyone to participate in those events, regardless of their gender identity. The "Mixed Relay" has been repurposed into an All-Gender category to enable everyone to participate. Please note that two swimmers must identify as women on each "All Gender" relay team. The other two spots may include swimmers of any gender identity.
