香港繼2008年舉辦奧運馬術賽事後，再度主辦國際級體壇盛事！堪稱「同志奧運」的2022同樂運動會（Gay Games）將落戶香港舉行，主辦機構香港同樂運動會於上星期四（12日）舉辦倒數兩年啟動禮，在疫情陰霾下，籌備過程正進行得如火如荼。香港同樂運動會創辦人Dennis Philipse表示，希望運動會能成為香港的疫後慶典。他憶述在上屆巴黎同樂運動會認識到一名日本運動員，他以公幹為名出國參賽，奪金後卻只能低調回國，免得親友得知自己同志身份。他期望香港作為首個亞洲主辦城市，能匯聚全亞洲過億同志人口，打破對性小眾的刻板印象。 同樂運動會是由LGBTQ+ （女同性戀、男同性戀、雙性戀、跨性別、酷兒以及其他相關群體）社群策劃籌辦，是一個四年一度，為期九天的大型運動會。第一屆同樂運動會在1982年於美國三藩市舉辦，巴黎、溫哥華、紐約等歐美城市都曾舉辦過是項活動，而2022香港同樂運動會已是第11屆，主題是「在多元中團結」，更是首次在亞洲城市舉辦。活動預計吸引12,000名參賽者及75,000名觀眾參加，並為香港帶來超過十億港元經濟效益。是次運動會設有36項體育項目，包括龍舟、越野跑、電競等帶有香港特色的項目。 Read the full article here
