香港繼2008年舉辦奧運馬術賽事後,再度主辦國際級體壇盛事!堪稱「同志奧運」的2022同樂運動會(Gay Games)將落戶香港舉行,主辦機構香港同樂運動會於上星期四(12日)舉辦倒數兩年啟動禮,在疫情陰霾下,籌備過程正進行得如火如荼。香港同樂運動會創辦人Dennis Philipse表示,希望運動會能成為香港的疫後慶典。他憶述在上屆巴黎同樂運動會認識到一名日本運動員,他以公幹為名出國參賽,奪金後卻只能低調回國,免得親友得知自己同志身份。他期望香港作為首個亞洲主辦城市,能匯聚全亞洲過億同志人口,打破對性小眾的刻板印象。 同樂運動會是由LGBTQ+ (女同性戀、男同性戀、雙性戀、跨性別、酷兒以及其他相關群體)社群策劃籌辦,是一個四年一度,為期九天的大型運動會。第一屆同樂運動會在1982年於美國三藩市舉辦,巴黎、溫哥華、紐約等歐美城市都曾舉辦過是項活動,而2022香港同樂運動會已是第11屆,主題是「在多元中團結」,更是首次在亞洲城市舉辦。活動預計吸引12,000名參賽者及75,000名觀眾參加,並為香港帶來超過十億港元經濟效益。是次運動會設有36項體育項目,包括龍舟、越野跑、電競等帶有香港特色的項目。 Read the full article here
