Dave Vowles joins GGHK Management Team as Customer Service Experience Director

The Management Team of GGHK2022 is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Vowles as Customer Service Experience Director.

Dave and his team will be responsible for taking care of all the participants attending the games and ensuring that everyone has the best and most positive experience at Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022.

“After meeting up with Dennis over a few cups of coffee and expressing how I’d like to volunteer and be a part of such a fantastic event, I am now privileged to lead the customer service experience team. Providing excellent customer service is very close to my heart, something I learned from my aviation career. The personal stories people shared with me from the Paris games were so touching, my goal with the customer service experience team is to work hard for our participants to give them the best Gay Games yet!”

Originally from Alderney, Channel Islands, in the UK, Dave is proud to call Hong Kong home for over 20 years. After a 27-year career in aviation, Dave is taking a break and dedicating his time to support the Gay Games.

Dave loves the outdoors and adventure travel, in 2019 completing an expedition to Antarctica and trekked to Everest Base Camp, and now planning a journey to the North Pole in June 2021. Dave plans to enter the 10k run in the games, he has completed one marathon and several 10k races. When not outdoors and adventure travelling, Dave can be found at home playing the cello. Please join us in welcoming Dave to the Management Team!
